THE BULL THAT BROUGHT
    HIM DOWN

Casey was a rodeo star,
a rider of renown;
and we  were proud of Casey
for he came from our small town.
Casey’s skills were much admired
by folks across the west.
When it came t’ ridin’ bulls
he ranked among the best.

Casey could ride any bull;
at least that’s what we thought.
Buckles…he’d won many-
and prize money…quite a lot.
His bank account was loaded
and his pockets, always full…..
until one day he got the urge
t’ ride the Wall Street bull.

Casey was a rodeo star-
a rider of renown;
but in the end it was a bull
that brought poor Casey down.
At first, the ride went easy.
The stock he rode was good,
outperforming others
like the broker said it would.

But then a bear came pouncin’ in.
It reared straight up ‘n roared.
Before he knew what happened…..
Casey’s ass was gored.
Now Casey runs from Wall Street bears….
…and Wall Street bulls…. the same.
He sez’ compared to Wall Street,
his rodeo ridin’s tame.
